BENU introduces a new addition to the Talisman Collection, Pink Opal. In line with the concept of the collection, which explores the history, folklore, and cultural meaning of symbolic substances and good luck charms, this model draws inspiration from the Pink Opal stone.
The design reflects the natural character of pink opal, revealing a palette that moves from delicate cotton pink to soft lavender tones. A pronounced pearlescent effect and light shifting properties echo the depth and gentle radiance associated with the stone. Following the concept of the Talisman Collection, each pen incorporates a small amount of the stone it is dedicated to. In this case, pink opal dust becomes part of the pen itself. Each piece is accompanied by a leaflet outlining the historical background and cultural associations of this crystal. Each pen is fitted with a #6 Schmidt gold-plated nib and clip.
It comes with a standard international converter and one long blue ink cartridge. You can also fill the whole barrel with ink to use as an eyedropper pen with a massive ink capacity.
We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.

The Zebra Sarasa .5mm clip pens in the vintage colorway are great. The fine tip makes writing small easy. The colors are perfect and the ink flows nicely. Also they don’t bleed through on my Hobonichi Tomoe River papers.
Weighty and substantial but slim enough for very small hands to remain comfortable. I went with EF and it has been very consistent without skipping or issue. The clip is tight enough to perform adequately.
Anemoia was nice enough to juice up my pen at a pen show with Tom’s Studio ink and I was thrilled. Will be stopping by the store for more goodies soon.
Fabulous pen. I love how well the shape of the bulbous part seats in my hand with well balanced weight. I love that the brass nib holder is easily adjusted to suit an angle that works best for me, and that it is capable of use for left, and right handed persons.
This a a place that has something for everyone. The items are different, beautiful, and allows you to be as creative as you want.
You can shape it to look like roots on a tree.
I love the texture it adds.
