Light, lighter, LAMY AL-star: the writing classic made of resistant aluminium masters all challenges of everyday life in style. The transparent grip lies comfortably in the hand and, with an unobstructed view of the ink duct, turns the functional into a visual highlight. Now in two bold new tones that bring vibrant flair to the everyday and a radical vibe to the desk: rollerskate & disco.
The AL-star Collection is similar to Lamy Safari, but brings an extraordinary lightness of its robust yet durable material of anodized aluminum. The ergonomically correct transparent grip supplies a revealing look at the inner workings of the ink feed and the spring-loaded clip will stand the test of time.
Considered an entry-level fountain pen, with its polished steel nib, provides a satisfying writing experience for all users. One of real advantages of the LAMY AL-star fountain pen is that nibs can be purchased separately and are easily exchanged. A 14K gold nib can also be purchased in nib sizes ranging from EF-OM. The filling system is either a proprietary T10 cartridge or converter; however, the Z28 converter is sold separately.
